About
Our culinary mental health program, Who Cracked My Egg? is a great way to engage students in openly talking about trauma-induced issues. The lesson encourages students to use culinary skills to explore ways to heal when life cracks you through traumas (bullying, separation, anxiety, divorce, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, covid-19, isolation and fear). Our unique approach to engaging youth to deal with these issues in a guided format appeals to youth who need a unique approach to begin the healing process of trauma. This course provides recipes so virtual students can download them and use them limitless times as well as enjoy their own creations. The egg symbolizes life and what to do when life cracks you. How will you respond? What tools do you need to regroup? Our unique approach to cognitive therapy using the simplicity of an egg will yield lasting results and measurable progress. Please note, the recipes and cooking are for demonstration, your student can still participate even without cooking the food. The lesson is engaging and interactive. Classes for ages 12 - 18 free with proof of school name. Parents will have to register their student.
